Sweet Steel

Sweet Steel...oh how we love this little doggie!  He has settled down so much in the past few months.  I think he thinks he is a cat...we find him sleeping on the back of the chair and sofa.  He walks on the sofa table.  I've caught him on the kitchen table and the island.!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving with our families.  I didn't take a single picture!  But, I did get some sent to me...enjoy these snippets of our day.

Handsome boy!  He was dressed in an older jersey and gym shorts and I told him to put something nicer on...and he got dressed to impress!

 Love this sweet lady!

A few of the cousins...Eve, Harper, and Phereby.

Silly Kids

This guy has been around our house a lot lately...

We enjoyed A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving...well, except for Steel.  He wanted some popcorn.

Thanksgiving at school 2015

Anderson's class showed off their reading and read to us about the first Thanksgiving.  Anderson's hat cracked me up!  I asked how he could read and he said he just had to look down...he's the one in the middle.

Owen had Colonial Day and got to dress up and spend the day doing fun activities like making butter, making a candle and a broom among other crafts.

Christmas Parade

We kicked off the holiday season with the Christmas parade.  Lots of fun seeing friends who are clowns and all the other fun floats.  There are more balloons each year...which is a lot of fun.  I didn't get a picture of a really cool shark one.  The handlers brought it right over us (partly to avoid street lights and partly to entertain the crowd...either way it was cool).

Beautiful start to the parade.

The kids favorite...Iron Man

3rd Grade Play

The third graders had their class play about Gideon, Zeros into Heros.  It was a cute little play and Owen had fun (and hopefully learned something!)

 LOVE this picture!

Third Grade Field Trip

Owen and his classmates had a field trip to a former cotton farm.  Despite the rain, we had a good time.  Owen got to pick cotton, wash laundry the old school way and shake some cream into butter.

Visiting the goats in the barn.
