Happy Thanksgiving!

We enjoyed a fun family filled Thanksgiving and day after.

Just in case you need to know how to cook a turkey in the future...Anderson has some tips.

Christmas Parade

We got up bright and early the Saturday before Thanksgiving to enjoy the big local parade.  It was a little cold, but fortunately not windy.  We had a great time and enjoyed a fun parade.

With some clowns from our church who were walking in the parade.

An Elvis balloon!

The kids enjoyed the Jeeps.  They were doing a trick of riding over the tires of another Jeep.

Native American Study

Owen really enjoyed the Native American study he did in school. It made me think about my grandmother who loved learning about the native Americans.

He made a vest, head band, instrument and totem pole at school.

And then he made a 'bottom' cover at home.

We enjoyed a local Native American festival that earned him extra credit.  I think the best part for him was running into his bff and having popcorn!

In a wigwam shell.  There was some music an dancing going on behind them.

We saw some guys making a canoe the traditional way too.  The had a log that they were burning the center of and they were scraping out the inside as it burned.  It was really neat.

Edible Art

Fun edible art time with Grandma Sue and the cousins...the edible tee pee went great with the Native American study Owen is finishing up in school.  He had fun telling his cousins about tee pees.

Cupcake, baked in an ice cream cone...stick pretzels on top, dip in chocolate and then in 'leaves' sprinkles.  Eat and enjoy :)

Happy Halloween!

From Batman and Venom....

Anderson was dressed and ready to go about 4:00...chilling waiting for it to be time to trick or treat...

They had no idea who Elvis was...guess we have some music legend history to teach them.
