Spring Break

Spring Break flew by!  We had dentist appointments (both kids) and an eye doctor appointment for Anderson.  We went to the science museum with friends, got hair cuts with daddy, and spent a couple of days with Mrs. Maria and her extended family.

They actually went to the dentist on Monday and Thursday.  They got their teeth cleaned on Monday and went back on Thursday when Maria's girls had their appointments....the dentist office is big fun, people!  We also took Anderson to the eye doctor.  A couple of weeks ago he had a developmental evaluation done at our request due to his speech.  While there, we were told that they were much more concerned with his vision than his speech.  At the eye doctor, we found out that his vision is perfectly fine.  The device they use at the screening, if not lined up properly can give a pretty bad result.

We spent an afternoon at the science museum with some friends from church.

The jaw of a great white shark!

 Anderson loved the dinosaurs.

It is hard to believe there are just 5 weeks left of school!

Also during spring break week, I started a new job...hence the lack of blog posts!  It's been a bit of an adjustment for our family since it is more hours than I was working, but everything is going well.  Learning their complicated accounting software seems to be the hardest part, but I am getting it.  The best part is that the days fly by as there is quite a bit of work to do.

Play doh

They love it...and I love that it enables them to be creative.  I love it even more when it is warm enough to play with it outside.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter celebrating our risen Savior.  A few pictures of the fun...at home, church and Aunt Abby's house.

The Easter Bunny brought lots of fun goodies.  How did he know it was going to be a rainy Easter?  I believe he just got lucky since the umbrellas were purchased a month in advance :)

  Checking out his new watch...

Personalities...Anderson dancing and Owen completely serious.
Had to get a famous Anderson booty shake in.

Because of the morning rain, the egg hunt/grab was moved to the gym.

Anderson was tired and didn't want to pose with his cousins.
 They got to color eggs...

And when we made it back home, they got to burn some sparklers the Easter Bunny picked up while at a game in SC.

The highlight of Easter came for Owen and Aaron Easter night and me Easter morning.  While Aaron was tucking Owen into bed, Owen asked Jesus to forgive him of his sins and to come into his heart.  When he told me Monday morning, I asked him how he felt now and he said, 'I feel so happy.'  Me too, buddy!
