Owen had his Christmas Craft Days at school last week. They made the cutest things...I'm a sucker for anything with a hand print or a foot print. It appears so are the moms that helped with craft day! Owen had a great time making all of these items and telling me about them while I waited rather impatiently to see them.
They made shirts the week before to wear while they got their craft on.
Decorated a Christmas tree magnet with scrapbook paper circles and buttons.
Hand print snowman ornament...this was hard to photograph. They painted their hand and then grabbed the ornament making 5 little snowmen.
Christmas tree ornament.
He decorated the bag to bring his goodies home. I love that he gave the snowman legs using two of the scarf stickies.
How cute is this!! Toothpicks, lima beans and black eyed peas....
A 12x12 tile...
A hand towel...it's kind of hard to read, but it says, "Jesus is 'deer' to me"
And, a hand print and foot print angel banner.
Look at how much he's grown! The one on the left was made his first Christmas. Here we are 6 years later and his foot has doubled!
Go ahead and mention my child, The one that died, you know. Don't worry about hurting me further The depth of my pain doesn't show. Don't worry about making me cry I'm already crying inside Help me heal by releasing The tears that I try to hide. I'm hurt when you just keep silent, Pretending it doesn't exist. I'd rather you mention my child Knowing that she has been missed. You ask me how I'm doing, I say "pretty good" or "fine" But healing is something on going I feel it will take a lifetime.
